Noisecontrollers and Bass Modulators experienced an unrivalled 2014. Noisecontrollers, one of the leading hardstyle acts and mentioned in the DJ MAG TOP 100 for 5 consecutive years, enhanced his 2013 decision for a solo career by launching his first solo album ‘All Around’ in April 2014. The album was without the press’ doubt the best hardstyle album of the year. Bass Modulators skyrocketed. Their year included the widely supported ‘Let Me See Ya’ and ‘Radiance’, and their Hard with Style release ‘Save The Day ft. Vice’. Besides, they crossed musical genres by releasing their remix of ‘twoloud – Big Bang’ on Musical Freedom and their remix of ‘Armin van Buuren & Andrew Rayel – EIFORYA’ on Armada TRICE. And the beat goes…

In the second half of 2014, the powerful hardstyle sounds of Noisecontrollers and the enchanted melodies of Bass Modulators met for the first time in the studio. Determined to collaborate on an ever-progressive sound, two days of studio time led to the creation of Rocked Up! Premiered at the #1 hardstyle event Qlimax, Rocked Up instantly fixed itself a position among the leading hardstyle sounds of the upcoming year. Let’s get Rocked Up!

Belgian Dirty Workz boss Coone has teamed up with Smash the House Dutch maestros  Bassjackers to bring together hard style and house in one humungous track. “Sound Barrier”, available from November the 16th, sees the best of both genres come together to form one of the biggest songs of the year. Loaded with towering drops, ethereal breakdowns and a series of thrilling twists and turns, the latest Smash the House release is one of the finest of the year. 

The tense vocals are provided by the rising GLDY LX, and form the spine of a track that explores both the heavy hitting rhythms of its hardstyle influences, but also finds space to expand on the melody and harmony synonymous with house music. Fluctuating between hellish, bass heavy percussion and mechanical, jittering synths, “Sound Barrier” is the perfect synergy between two disparate styles of electronic music, and expertly captures the most thrilling elements of each. 

With Bassjackers recently entering DJMag’s top 100 DJs list as a new entry at 39, along with Coone’s inclusion at number 49, “Sound Barrier” signifies the great success that both artists have achieved in a whirlwind 2015. The track is the collaboration between three undeniably huge talents, each providing their own distinctive virtues to a track bursting with amazing elements, sounds and ideas.

Mark With A K - Love Rules The Universe

Belgian born Mark Carpentier, aka Mark With a K, is one of the biggest names in the hard dance scene, known for his energetic dj performances. 

Starting from a residency in clubs like Highstreet, he got asked to play at some of the biggest events and festivals (Tomorrowland, Reverze, Bassleader, Q-Base, Defqon 1, Decibel,...) and in the most prestigious clubs.

In 2009 he released his first solo album entitled 'My World'. In 2010 his second album 'Harder' was released. In 2011 he released his third album Roll With Me. The album was a great success from the moment it was released and made Mark With a K one of Belgium's most popular hard dance producers.

2012 was one of the greatest years for Mark With a K. He released his biggest hit entitled Music is My Alibi followed by Darkside, Fly,…

Mark With a K started his own recordlabel/branding entitled NOIZE JUNKY. By starting his own label, Mark With a K expanded his own horizons and allowed young hard dance producers to launch new and exciting music into the hard dance scene. 

That year he released a new album entitled 'Forever Young'. This album was really successful and thanks to Bass Events, Mark With a K received the opportunity to have his own event in the Lotto Arena. 

After a sold out edition in 2012, a second event in Lotto Arena took place. 2013 was the year of 'The Next Level', his latest album. 

2014 was a year of change, Mark With a K started performing internationally and one of his dreams to work together with Chris Willis came out. The name of the collaboration is called ‘Something More’.

2015 will be The Next Level for Mark With a K, definitely go check him out somewhere!
