This song is the closest I've ever been to describing what it feels like to have a panic attack. I wrote it when I was 17 in my bedroom just on a piano and recently revisited it building the production around the bones I already had from that time. I wrote it at a time when I felt I didn't have the words to articulate how I was feeling. When people would ask me about it I had nothing apart from this song. This is the first of 6 songs on my upcoming project '18 And Anxious' all of which I wrote during that period of my life. The songs I would send to my therapist to avoid having to actually speak about what was happening haha. I hope this connects with you in one way or another xx

The 5th track of 18 & Anxious!! 5/6 guys we're almost there! This song isn't about going through a hard time.. it's about 6 months after you think you're better. It's about relapse, recovery, the feeling of temptation to go back to old mindsets, old relationships or old habits. Kinda like how when you break up with someone after a while you start to only remember the good bits and not how it wasn't right and how that's the moment you want to go back.

My Heart is Like a Singing Bird

Wow, hadn't realised what a journey SoundCloud would take me on.  After many years of passive listening to music I've dieted on a variety of tastes. My appetite for new sounds is undiminished and SC provides plenty of food. I am not a musician and have only recently started to listen positively to the sounds. My early years began listening to music from ABC, The Beatles, The Carpenters Dire Straits Eagles Fleetwood Mac Genesis Elton John Led Zeppelin Gilbert O'Sullivan Rod Stewart Supertramp Tangerine Dream Vangelis The Who and many more.
If you can't spot a trend in my current likes it may be because it is diverse. I love listening to all my playlists which contain tracks that I like and if you like any of the music you must thank the artists not me.
