delusional- this is why all the bands I were in didn't 'make it or last a year; everyone already thought they were stars without even starting the hustle.  Thanks for the great podcast:) I'm happy to hear its good to stay different and not just be what is expected. The bands that I were in all dressed and played what was 'stereotyped' punk rock. No one was open to different genres and they were fixed on their 'look'. Being the only gal in all my ex-bands, they all wanted that "expected" look and attitude and I was kicked out for being quiet ( because it wouldn't be good in their future tv interviews lol). Anywho, I thought female asian drummers are pretty rare in north america and seeing how the first band you guys were talking about had that female special factor, I think I could have been great leverage but without the looks lol:P. Thanks for the great advice and stories, really good listen! If only my ex bands had this sage advice to listen to ( if they would even listen lol)
