Ralph Burnett, better known by his stage name Johnny Dough, is an American rapper, songwriter and music publisher from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Born and raised in West Philadelphia, he gained notoriety in 2016 with his first EP titled 5 For 20 on the mymixtapez app when it garnered close to 14,000 hits independently. He started his own record label Alpha Male Records LLC in 2020 and been releasing his music through his own record company independently ever since.

In 2012 Johnny Dough released his first mixtapes CCM Volume One and I Am Prodoughcall via DatPiff. In 2016 he released an EP titled 5 For 20. In 2017 he released another EP titled 3 For 10. In 2018 he released a mixtape State Road Stories via MyMixtapez app and Datpiff. In 2019 he released an EP titled Dough Season. 2020 was fairly quiet as Johnny Dough only released two singles called Typa Love and Emoji in which he received a lot of positive feedback on the single Emoji. 2021 Johnny Dough went hard releasing two mixtapes titled CCM 1.7 Crack Files, Am I My Brothas Keeper with his rap partner and blood brother Calli Flo as well as four singles titled Friday, Goodfellas, Boomerang and All Hustle. In 2022 Dough kept his foot on the gas re-releasing the singleI Got It {Remastered} as well as three other singles Them Nights, Recession Proof Freestyle, Everybody Reachin with his rap partner / group mate Propane and three mixtapes titled CCM Volume Two, The Lost Files and 10 For 40 (Reloaded). To date Johnny Dough has over 200 songs to which he owns the sound recordings (masters) as well as musical compositions (publishing). Notable features he has worked with is 3D Natee and Quilly. Johnny Dough is also part of a group called Prodoughcall which is a trio that consists of two other members Calli Flo and Propane. They released their first album in 2009 called Prodoughcall The Name. Another album called What’s Next in 2010. Took a hiatus and they (Prodoughcall) released a single called BIG in 2017 exclusively on the mymixtapez app and four years later in 2021 released a mixtape called Triangle Offense. To end 2022 the trio releasing another mixtape called Dingy Route. The trio has over 100 songs recorded and released.

Growing up Johnny Dough had it rough as him and his family grew up in poverty. His favorite sports was football and basketball as he loved football a little bit more then basketball. He was always book-smart in elementary school as he was very good at math, reading and writing. Johnny Dough then turned to the streets for monetary reasons as an adolescent. His mother passed away in 2002 to sarcoidosis as a kid then his grandmother passed away in 2004. His father passed away in 2013 to cancer. Johnny Dough has five brothers and five sisters all by the same mother and father. Johnny Dough was always good at writing and his dreadful past made writing rhymes his personal diary and recording music became therapeutic for him to release his anxiety into his music.

Mensa went on to help Kanye West pen his esoteric song “Wolves” from The Life of Pablo, drop three critically acclaimed EPs (2016’s There’s A Lot Going On, 2018’s Hooligans, and 2020’s V TAPE) and his debut full length The Autobiography (2017), as well as furthering social causes in his hometown through his nonprofit SAVEMONEYSAVELIFE. In both music and his social activism, Vic challenges the American system responsible for a history of overcriminalization, racial injustice, and issues that affect the lives of people in underserved communities, while showcasing profound levels of consciousness and self-reflection.

Born and raised in the city of Philadelphia, Calli Flo (member of Philly's own Hip-Hop group Prodoughcall) is a young, fresh talent and can bring a lot of new  flavor to the game!
