Rafiqi Green is an hiphop\soul artist born in the lawndale community of Chicago's West side. He expresses himself musically, covering many different topics from the instrospective, social and political issues, defending his Islamic faith, to songs about love while also ensuring that he never compromise with his personal beliefs. Growing up in a musically inclined family, he was lead by his parents to the schools that would help sharpen and cultivate his talents such as Howland School of the arts and G.W. Collins High school.
 Graduating highschool he went on to Rust college to study music in HollySprings Mississippi. In pursue of his musical career, he's linked with programs such as Gallery 37 and the poetry club, he's opened up for comedian Ricky Smiley, was a finalists in "Clear Channel's" 2004 Chicago Idol of which he was interviewed on two of Chicago's top radio stations WGCI and V103. He has worked with serveral artists locally and abroad assissiting in writing and producing, and he's currently working on new material and projects.
