I've been fluttering in and out of making music for the past 12 months, which has been really good for me alongside exploring other things that are meaningful to me.

In the process, I noticed that a theme was recurring throughout some of the songs I was writing. I seem to have an underlying grudge against televisions. So, I started to write a story... which I'm still writing of course. Then it hit me! I could make a musical.

Maybe in a couple of years, I'll have a full story for this, as well as a script for a musical and a full repertoire of songs to go with it too. For now, though, here is a taster, with four songs which represent the beginning, the middle, and the end of the story.

Track 1 - I Just Want You To Play Football With Me: The story begins with a boy, Johnny, who struggles for attention from his father, who is always preoccupied with either his phone or the television watching football (2003: roughly around the time the UK pulled out of their murderous regime in Iraq).

Track 2 - Cracked: Fast forward to (undecided year) in a dystopia where screens dominate every aspect of life; where you pay for almost everything via adverts. Eventually, Johnny starts to lose it, and this marks his awakening after meeting The League of Antitelevisionaries.

Track 3 - Andromeda: Johnny utilises a psychedelic substance which triggered his awakening, which allows one to explore other realms and envision what life could have been like; what it was, and surprisingly how the population's reality had been changed beyond recognition or memory. This substance will be distributed through the water to trigger the second, and, hopefully successful, mass awakening.

Track 4 - The War On Television: The day of the battle. The people have risen. The people have tears of joy, and swathes of rage. Today, they will declare themselves the nation.
