Hey everyone! It's been a while since I've done a proper track here, hasn't it? Despite my workload still being rather heavy, I wanted to adhere to my promise to return by November. I'm going to continue balancing composition with schoolwork, because this was so much fun to make! Given how my favorite genre of music is jazz, I'd say this song's swinging nature taps into that more than any other song I've done. I sincerely hope you enjoy it!

MANIAC'S REVENGE PIANO COVER

The layeredness of the celesta/harp in this song reminded me of the way Beginning of the Journey utilizes its channels, which made me think of the MIDI for this song some guy on VGMusic made a number of years ago.
Making the Channel Volume events work properly by moving over to FL 20 during the final stage turned out to not be worth it, 'cause shit kept cutting out even though I was using less than 8 voices. YES, that's right, this track caps out at SEVEN voices, meaning there'd be a whole channel left for sound effects! It's something I noticed when working with EB and later LttP, but this is the first time I've ever made sure that 7 was the cap.
But yeah, anyway, I ended up making copies of the Strings and Choir in c700, and giving them Attack values of 2, since that's really all the volume envelopes were for to begin with.

I finally did it, an original Outertale Disbelief Phase 3!

So about the name “Outertale: Mistaken”. I know that there are already a bunch of different names like “Outertale: Distanced” but I just called this one “Mistaken” because it’s my own take on the Outertale Disbelief AU.

I‘ve wanted to make this for a long while now. Outertale Disbelief has been lacking some songs, especially original Phase 3’s. And what better time to upload this song than on my birthday!
