The girl is hard at work on her first album and from what we have heard everything is crack. Bebe is one of the most talented writers we have ever met and dont get us started on her voice. For us the beauty of a good song is a strong melody but also cleverness and Bebe is unmatched in coming up with interesting ways to sing about things that have been sang about forever! When Bebe sent us this song we were floored by its creativity and catchiness and of course were going to Remix it! The song itself was about 140 BPM which was challenging to slow down to 130 but we actually enjoyed the way her voice sounded stretched on the song. We paired it with some strong piano chords and here you have it!"

SO we realllllly we were looking forward to posting this live FULL set, but due to the rain our set was cut in 1/2. It sucked, but it's no ones fault, and EZOO was 100% right in calling it off as that storm was intense as hell. OF course we wish it hadn't happened but what can you do...

However, because of this we struggled with the idea of posting the live set because well it was only half of it, and we really wanted to wait till TomorrowWorld to do it again and with newer music at that point and well have it be a full hour... BUT you all convinced us otherwise, and we figured we all had a wild day that day and this mix is a great way to remember it... wait till the end and youll see why!

We of course had Bobby Shmurda as our guest, and he wasn't able to come out sadly, but hopefully we can do more cool stuff with him in the future. Sucks though cause we had been practicing our Shmoney dance for like 2 weeks!

Regardless, this day was huge for us. Just over a year ago we both borrowed Day passes from a friend, crossed the 103rd street bridge and attended EZOO as locals, we saw Felix Cartel, Morgan Page, Bingo Players, and others, and promised next year we would be playing this festival in our home city. We weren't sure how, we both sorta thought it was a crazy, but we were determined, it didn't matter what stage we would just be there as an artist, in fact we left early to get back to work... Well fast forward a year and we were playing on the mainstage. Now this isn't some cheesy, put your mind to it, you can do it, BS... those are lame...or even some dream come true BS... its just us telling you our story. Take from it what you want. Personally, its the fact that sometimes the craziest fantasies quickly become realities, good or bad and you just never know... This is something we wanted so bad, and we got it, and then it was cancelled... Were we pissed, furious, anyone there can attest to that, but you roll with the punches, and play the hand your dealt the best you can. We had family, friends and you badass motherfuckers there... and even though we only got 30 minutes, it was a day we will never forget and achieved something special for ourselves...

1) We came up with the idea of having Bobby come while drunk on our way to a show in Sacramento and emailed our manager to make it happen, and he did....
2) We took the subway to EZOO and crossed the 103rd bridge
3) Drew screamed Boobies in the middle of the set and fuck her right in the pussy on his mic during the end of danny avila's set
4) We went and had a family pizza after the set, and felt good about life

Quickie From US- "We first discovered Josef Salvats music with his single Hustler about 18 months back.... The song was so authentic and emotional and his voice was alike nothing we had heard. We did some research and found out he was quickly signed and we were sure it was only a matter of time before this guy was doing Sam Smith things. We had always wanted to remix his work but to be quite honest we thought we would write and he would just say no hahah... SO when we heard open Season we fell in love all over again. His unmistakable voice and haunting yet oddly uplifting lyrics... We decided to grow some balls and reach out, well not us we used our manager as cover... Sorta like sending your ugly friend over to find out of a girls single...! To our surprise Josef was totally down and we got the stems As you may have noticed lately we have been on a downtempo kick. Made its the food we've been eating, or weather but we have really enjoyed making this alternative tracks to our usual remix style. For us its important to go left sometimes as experimenting with new styles and sounds really opens up our creativity and thats certainly was the case with this. Anyway we ended up with this wonderful downtempo track that has a lot of organic sounds in it paired with the synths. We sent it over to Salvat and Co. and they loved it!
