This fund exists to provide emergency financial aid to at-risk nightlife workers in Berlin — those whose livelihoods have been severely impacted by COVID-19, and especially those who do not have access to other support systems.

Given this unprecedented situation, we urgently call on those passionate about nightlife with steady incomes or who are financially secure to join us in supporting those in need. In doing so, we share our support systems, inviting others under our umbrella of security as we all brace ourselves for this storm.

On Saturday, December 14, B.C. (Before Corona), after attending the infamous @hyperaktivist 's party, @messberlin where OHM's floor was being destroyed and having the pleasure of crossing few words with @marumwelt -both characters from the European underground electronic scene whom I admire for their hard work and generation of change- went to Suicide Circus to finish with the annihilation of the @golosaberlin dance floor, Sunday from 9:00 am til noon. It was one of the parties that I had the most fun playing at and that I felt an absolute connection with people.

Today, apart from humans ' health, which is what is expected to be a priority, and that in vulnerable states will be more difficult to conserve than in more consolidated ones, I fear for the weakening of the communities that are in the middle of a struggle for social and political transformation; dissident and outlaw groups. This appeasement of the masses -which was in full fervor for the change-, only gives more control power to those who have it and want to retain it. Although quarantine is a protocol action, keeping it obeyed but observed is suggested, since just as it can serve to defend population in pandemic, it can also be over used to dictate.

Meanwhile, music continues providing life energy.

I hope to soon be able to enjoy moments of freedom like Saturday, December 14, B.C.
