2024 Song Commentary:
I was a little hesitant to do this song for a few reasons.
1) Starved is a very dark character, and as such the content surrounding him is dark. This involves the background being decorated with dead animals, which I felt would be too extreme for my channel. Ultimately I decided to just edit out and censor the gore, which is ironic because Sonic.exe and his variants are known for their bloody nature, so I don't know why this one was the exception. I guess this one was just too much for me.
2) I didn't know how I would handle it. The past remixes and originals I've made were all electronic and rock/metal, and Fight or Flight was neither of those, so I didn't know what to do. Ultimately I pulled through and made this, combining some of those previously stated elements into this track.

The song itself actually started with a version I initially scrapped and then picked back up a while later. I decided to do the best I can to make this song as scary as possible, so I used ambient noises, sounds that pan from speaker to speaker, the same drum loops used in the song. I also added screaming sounds that you can hear if you listen close.
I believe there was a faint harsh metallic noise I added in somewhere during the buildup to the climax. If I recall correctly it was a reference to a Speedcore song I heard once.

In the video I used various effects to represent Tails being afraid. A fisheye effect for Tails becoming dizzy from fear. Tails flickering between icons was meant to represent him giving in to his dread. I forgot why I grayed everything out. I could've either been trying to have some flashback or I could be implying that Starved got Tails. It could even be that Starved used the Time Stones to go back to the beginning of the encounter and relive the moment, which is even more dark than I would have thought.
