Glasgow based Illyus Brown has released on Sccucci Manucci already and now he’s on Morris Audio with some sexy house tunes. Yeah you know we like that! The b-side offers a fat remix from Morris buddy Dale Howard - yeah Dale we love BASS too!  The second remix is from Illyus’ Glasgow buddies Mia Dora (they remixed Romanthony for Glasgow Underground) and is a special digital bonus.

After serving up a vigorous taste of his garage-house approach on the highly successful Music Is Love VA earlier in the year, Jackmaster K is the latest artist from the MIL roster to continue the imprints in-house premise. With each EP the label release, they give us something different amid the infectious house they're building a reputation for. For our final record of the year, we turn to Glasgow's man of the year - Denis Sulta.

Like a good chunk of the Numbers family, he has earnt his stripes working at the coalface of techno aka Rubadub. He has crafted two excellent twelves for our bare-chested cousins at Dixon Avenue Basement Jams and is beginning to carve himself out a reputation as a DJ of some repute, expertly blending in the bangers with Sulta-certified weirdness. Denis is part of a new wave of Glaswegian artists who are doing amazing things and whose music is continuously exciting us.

‘It’s Only Real’ created by Sulta during a burst of inspiration one Sunday, takes us back to a time when techno was intricately melodic but still kicked hard in the club. Made with only the purest of intentions and a dedication to the art of moving heads and feet.

JÜRGEN KERN aka TALIESIN (who is a psychedelic astronaut since the early beginnings) was one of the first analog producers in psytrance. He joined the label in 2014and released his latest album by the end of 2015, which reached „Psyshop Top 3“. Taliesin is a gifted composer and multi-instrumentalist who has this special knack of picking up on those wild and ancient rhythms that kindle our age-old desire for dance and release and to combine them with his skilful instrumental implementation and his fantasy-world compositions and arrangements and to project it all into the future!From early childhood on, it was the guitar that formed the basis of Taliesin’s multi-facetted musical development. In his youth, he learnt to play the synthesizer under the guidance of experienced musicians and technicians and mastered all aspects of its operation including the keyboard and percussion. It is this knowledge that has been paramount in giving Taliesin’s music its technical perfection and musical uniqueness which continually feeds his passion in the exploration of new terrain, both as an artist and a technician!Nowadays Taliesin creates his soundscapes in his own studio with cutting edge technology.
