Once upon a time, the Pet Shop Boys put a bid in to score The Living Daylights, not just write the song... but score the film.  They walked away and eventually released their demo as a song called This Must Be The Place I Waited Years To Leave.  It turns out it's a VERY bondish song in sound... so WHAT IF this was the song for The Living Daylights and John Barry worked it into the score?  This is maybe what it would have sounded like.  This is my licensed version of their song for orchestra.
