Christmas Songs 2016 @ Singapore

Musical genius AR Rahman (known also as 'Mozart of Madras') composed the original song and the text for a Tamil movie "Sivaji" capturing vividly the memories of his homeland and culture. 
The Chorus of the Mar Thoma Church at Singapore has sung the Christmas version "Halleluiah Balleilakka" adapted and translated into Malayalam by Rahela Padachira, while retaining the original score with the SATB arrangement from Ethan Sperry.
A breathtaking, joyous celebration of the Gift of Lord Jesus Christ. 
The track is prepared by Nithin K Abraham, and the chorus conducted by Anil John.

Halleluiah Balleilakka

Singing the Halleluiah Chorus is a delight for every chorister. Taken from Revelations 19:6, Handel composed this in 1741 as a part of Messiah, when all his projects had failed, his music had become outdated and others had declared his inspiration was "exhausted".
