The HiFi Club is a 3,500 square foot space that blurs the lines between live music venue, dance club and art gallery. The club, opened in 2005, is situated in Calgary's Beltline district, at the southern edge of Downtown. With a custom audio system designed by the top sound technicians in the city, HiFi regularly plays host to leading local acts and some of the most influential artists from around the world.

The bastard spawn of legendary Canadian party-rocking club owners Smalltown DJs and upstart disco dude – the young, gifted and brown – Wax Romeo. Finding common ground where sweaty club nights meet hippy forest raves, the threesome has joined forces to make and play fun, funk-focused dance tunes.
