Helping me Draw the Line with her guest mix in the second hour it’s Aphexia, a music project by German composer / producer / singer / multi-instrumentalist Ophelia Sullivan. Her sound’s characterized by complex percussion patterns, spherical soundscapes and indulgent melodic playfulness as well as brutally drilling basses and crystal clear beats. The genre-subverting diversity of her musical styles are deeply interwoven and merge to form a unique sound, best described as Post-Progressive Electronica.
