“Whatever genre type”
“Shallow Waters.”
It’s an early release from a small project called Mirrors, which focuses less on genre and more on the expression of concepts within the music.

This track explores the concept of depth and how we perceive it in the stereo field when handling sound. In production, we’re always working with this push and pull: the kick shaping the bass, the bass answering back, and the melody countering the bass.

I apply that same idea to width and panning. Every channel has a utility automating its width and position, and I’m using a utility on the master as well to keep the whole field in motion.
