Lazy Duck is having a nap. He dreams of a trip to a duck party where he gets involved in a flying contest. He can't believe it, he soars through the sky and leaves his competition far behind. Of course it's all just a dream and he wakes up from his nap at his cosy little pond:-)

Calaminus was a one-man-project from Germany, producing original works of groove-orientated instrumental music between 2009 - 2021. 
Its main focus was on genres like Funk, Fusion, (Acid/Nu)Jazz and Groove Pop, sometimes enriched by diverse ethnic influences of our Worlds' Music.

All original tracks - performed, arranged, recorded, mixed & mastered by myself - are still available under Creative Common License (CC-NC-ND) for free non-commercial use.

Who am I - I am a collector, curator and completely dedicated listener of musical compositions.  I love sound. Sound offers an absolute infinite artistry and scientific universe to explore, evolve and develop . We are in a glorious, superlative and revolutionary musical "golden age."  I have worked in the past as a DJ, studio recorder, sound stage arranger, producer, sound technician, roady-gopher and a dabbler of instruments.. 

I've had the pleasure and awesome experience of watching EEG brain waves and MRI perfusion digital images of people while they listened to music during my medical career.  People have unique and extraordinary divergent experiences to music at the same time that we share a collective quality, understanding and response.  I enjoyed watching the anatomical and physiological changes in the brain during music experiences.
