All sounds contained within are home-made/DIY recordings. Most songs are short stories, as I am influenced by Musicians & Writers like Raymond Carver, Warren Zevon, Mountain Goats, Tom Waits, Mark Eitzel,  Randy Newman, Destroyer, Steely Dan, Captain Beefheart, Loudon Wainwright III, Leonard Cohen & The National. I like to make my music interesting with novel twists and turns so please take your time, I'm sure you'll enjoy the musical surprises in the songs.
It's my way of making instrumental music interesting.
 

I've been a performing guitarist since the early sixties, survived the hippie era. 
I was a member of several respected aussie rock/blues and original rock bands, such as the late sixties W.G. Berg, Headband in the early seventies, Fraternity MKII and Mickey Finn 1976 - 1992. Later I joined the blues band Hoy-Hoy! until about 2017.

I now don't play live due to an illness but, as you can see, I do my 'thang' at my home studio, a computer based Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) enjoying music making immensely!

I hope you enjoy my music as much as I do making it. :)

Hope you find something you like here. I sing and play some guitar, piano, bass and drums (do not record my own drums due to lack of fitting recording environment-unfortunately). You'll find some collaborations with other SC artists too. I have a job in a totally different field (cardiology). I am not into AI generated music.

Welcome! If you stick around a bit, you'll find some sketchy sketches of a looping guitarist, interested in minimal music, jazz, fusion etc.
 
I wish I would have thought of saying the following about me, but it was Robert Fripp, and he seems to have had himself in mind: “Music so wishes to be heard that it sometimes calls on unlikely characters to give it voice.”

Oh, and you might wonder why I call my sketches "meta-music". Well, since I am always inspired by others,  I think of my improvisations as music *about other music*, thus meta-music.

For many years I concentrated on painting, but meanwhile I come back to music more and more. I always like to connect the different mediums, also writing lyrics. I play several instruments with main instrument classical guitar. I'm no singer, but sometimes I like to send a message.
