Spanish duo Aerosoul previously showcased some of their unforgettable compositions on Silk Royal. We're thrilled to now present another classic, "Isla Blanca", on Arrival. Originally released in 2004, "Isla Blanca" was featured on Spain's largest EDM label, Blanco Y Negro, as well as being featured side-by-side with names such as Shapeshifters, Bob Sinclair, and Katie Melua. For this release, a stunning chillout version by Aerosoul is featured alongside two new progressive remixes by Arrival veteran LTN and new addition Ramon Vincent.

The timeless saxophone as well as the lovely piano line quickly establish a unique and beautiful soundscape. Stunning pad lines and a delicate breakbeat are introduced, and gorgeous vocal stems provide additional texture later. As the song progresses, smooth bell synths make their entrance, and shortly thereafter the memorable theme riff takes over the mix, resulting in an outer-worldly listener experience that instantly takes you to the beaches of Ibiza.

Indonesian artist LTN provides the first progressive remix; it quickly establishes a strong groove and a fierce bassline. An arpeggio lead introduces the break, in which the delightful saxophone also makes its entrance. LTN added a powerful theme riff which truly adds tremendous energy to the overall mix, and strong synth riffs in the background support the original elements quite well.

The remix from Ramon Vincent (Germany) begins with a summery atmosphere, in which a light arpeggio and soothing background melodies form unique textures. In the break, the original elements are on display, and the track continues with further new melodic additions, all of which combine seamlessly with Aerosoul's memorable saxophone line.

Johan Vilborg is not only a major contributor to our Silk Royal division, but also now a permanent co-host of our weekly Silk Royal Showcase radio show. Frequently featured on radio by the international DJ elite, Johan has quickly become a household name in the world of trance & progressive. We're excited to present two brand new remixes of a pair of classics by the Swedish star: "Second Wind" and "Altara".

First up, Silk veteran and dear friend to our imprint, Dezza, offers a euphoric take on "Second Wind". A chunky groove -- progressive house in the "classical" tradition -- is soon met by the joyful lead theme, now infused with gorgeous pad and piano layers. In the main break, Johan's original lead coalesces triumphantly with Dezza's numerous melodic layers. This is a glorious take that will make your heart sing.

Andrew Benson is a well-known Russian artist, who has contributed to numerous top tier progressive labels in recent years. We're delighted to present his Silk debut: a deep rendering of one of Johan's most famous songs, "Altara". His interpretation pays homage to the retro 80s sound, including a funky groove and "neon-tinged" synths. The main vocal theme appears in the main break, soaring above the vintage, head-bopping bassline. Fans of the current deep and 80s house revival will not be disappointed by Andrew's inspired take.

As a fresh breath of air, we welcome the Italian producer Richard Bass to the PHW family. As a long time producer in our genre, known for building his wonderful melodic journeys, we of course feel great to see him partner with us. He brings on a truly fresh production, named as “Wonderful Days” and we are certain he will bring another smile on your face with his music. 

To second the original ideas, we see two warm reworks on the release as well, with our great friend Dextrose joining forces with PHW yet again. With his warm mood and selection of sounds is to sweep you on a roller coaster once more. It’s as beautiful as ever from the man from India. 

We also see the return from Vienna based producer Axxound who builds a more energetic rework on the original ideas. With his great touch where he blend all the melodic parts with more trance inspired sounds definitely is to rock those socks as he delivers the full on ride as he always does. It’s great to see Axel back in the family!

We are delighted to revisit a track which for us was a highlight of 2017, Cosmaks’ incredible “Thunder”. Originally featured on our Coastal Selections 005 compilation, this amazing track gained a host of support and reaffirmed what a talented producer this France-based artist is. 

Now we are pleased to bring you two jaw dropping new remixes of this amazing track courtesy of two of the progressive scene’s biggest hitters: Netherlands-based Talamanca and Germany-based duo Ron With Leeds. Both of these stunning remixes honour the integrity of the beautiful original, whilst adding the signature sounds of these versatile artists to create two stunning new masterpieces.
