Shi Ting Chen is an environmental activist, DJ, producer, party organiser with the Sssound Without Borders collective and Rave & ‘Punk Solidarity Front For Palestine’. She is also a label founder and has signed her music to excellent labels such as Siamese Twins Records, Diffuse Reality, Melifera, Huinali, Oslated, Companion, Jin Records and MISBHV. ...This artist sees art as a committed means of placing herself at the heart of living issues and questions about the relationship between humans and natural environments. Sonically, her touch is directly identifiable by her taste for detail and a unique approach to storytelling, as well as her use of complex rhythms. It’s our pleasure to welcome back @sentientsound, this time for a stunning SoundSculptors live set, the seventh episode of this series. His live set definitely pulls the listener deeply into the vortex with it’s dissonant abyssal drones and powerful drum patterns. He created a special mixture of half time and drumandbass, while varying the kick patterns strongly, sometimes even dipping into ambient where he even implemented his guitar. Punctually perfectly dosed distortion marks the intense sound signature of Sentient.

London-based dubstep, drum and bass, experimental bass and ambient music producer & DJ, Sentient, has carved himself a niche in bass music with crushing, genre-spanning soundscapes, moving fluidly between various styles and sounds.
Inspired by horror game soundtracks with heavy, crushing atmospheres, his love of classical and hardcore music, and the idea of dissociation and abstraction from the everyday, Sentient’s distinctive sound fuses these influences resulting in a mesmerising blend of gloomy and oppressive sonic landscapes that aim to move the listener to an intangible plain outside of their field of vision.

A welcome return to the series for our friend Faru with an inspired hybrid mix that captures the bittersweet essence of summer's farewell.

Faru is a Berlin-based musician, designer and explorer. He is crafting Drone and Ambient music from his nature recordings from around the world. His works have been described as a natural orchestra in a dream-like manner. Exploring movements of nature, noise and harmonics. Labels include Silent Season, Faint and Carpe Sonum (FAX)

About the mix he said:
"This hybrid mix drifts through layers of sound that feel like half-remembered dreams and moments suspended between past and present. It carries a sense of nostalgia, of looking back at places and times that still echo somewhere within. The sounds paint old memories into focus, though never quite as they were. Sometimes blurred, sometimes distorted, always shaped by the way we remember them as individuals. Textures and gentle warmth intertwine, like memories fading in and out of view. It’s music for reflection, for wandering through old feelings, and for revisiting those fragments of time that never completely leave us."
