Welcome to Episode 157 on Poisonoise Music with this session featuring the talents of Cypriot artist Marilena Mantilou aka WanderWonder. 
Marilena is a new artist to my ears, and she very kindly sent me over an excellent deep session that she recorded for Barking Cats Radio : (https://soundcloud.com/barkingcatsradio/dishonest-show-wanderwonder-abstract-interactions-171221) 
I really enjoyed that set and asked her to send me over a mix for my page and i am really glad that i did!
She has delivered a beautifully deep and textured session here, featuring a lot of big names in the genre.

In the mysterious lands of Galicia, where the mist embraces ancient forests and tales of the supernatural intertwine with reality, Granha brings us closer to the "Santa Compaña."
Inspired by the legend of the Santa Compaña, this piece merges the richness of Galician music with contemporary elements, creating a sonic experience that transports the listener to a world where the divine and the earthly intertwine.
The sounds of bagpipes, tambourines, and pandeiros blend with synthesizers and electronic textures, creating soundscapes that evoke the darkness of the Galician night and the solemnity of the procession of souls in torment.

Moving through the woodland there was a strange creature which walked alongside him in the dense glow of the twisted moonlight. He held his torch high to cast a small path of light ahead of his stride as the lion marched on in tandem. He was not the brave soul he had hoped he might find himself to be - the woods were dark and scary and as the trees howled and roared in the strain of the wind he began to shiver and shake. This place was spooky and haunted, like something from an old film. The sound echoed in the distance as he walked towards the light outside...

Koyil is he musical alias of Lev Zhitskiy who is set to release a new EP on Moscow based record label DIG Records. It's a beautiful, enchanting ethereal release which channels a wide range of instrumentation and style. Highly recommended, big TIP as some might say.
