We follow Admiral Jon Grissom and his journey through the mass effect relay. A device which allows for instantenous travel across star systems. This opens up a whole new era of human space exploration. 

I wanted it to remain optimistic, but at the same time have an uneasy feeling. Exploration rarely comes without a cost.

This growing denial of what is actually happening in the world will inevitably bring about an annihilation of our species.

Beautiful World

Redemption is a breathtaking musical journey by Asher, a talented artist who fuses hip hop, pop, cinematic classical and EDM genres. The song has a mesmerizing melody that harmonizes with the epic orchestral background. It invites the listener to experience a thrilling and emotional story through sound.

The song begins with a serene scene of a couple sailing on a river under the moonlight, enjoying their love and peace. But soon, the river turns into a raging torrent that sweeps them away to a mysterious and hostile land. They find themselves in a dark and dangerous world, where they have to fight for their lives and their love. They face many perils and challenges, but they never give up hope. They cling to each other and their faith, until they finally reach the end of the river that leads them back to their home and their happiness.

Redemption

My first composition with wind instruments, and it was an extremely refreshing experience and a distraction from composing strictly with a piano the last few years.
The main theme itself is a long ago composed simple keyboard theme that I've always kept close at heart. 
I've rarely left B minor in this piece, save from some chromatic sections and D Major/ E minor restatements and an new F-sharp major and minor theme in the quasi development section.
I've tried to give prominence/independece to every instrument in different section, but since I know next to nothing about wind instruments, I probably made a ton of stylistic errors.
All in all, I've very pleased with how this piece turned out, it has a certain rustic or medieval feel to it, coupled with few sections that feel, at least to me, dark-folkloric or even eldritch.

Cat vs Vacuum

This remastered album is the musical journey accompanying the harrowing events of Book 3 of "Hinter uns das Land" ("Behind Us The Land"), a poignant novel by Frank Talmon l'Armée. As the war closes in, the Feyerabend family, along with countless others, is forced to make the heart-wrenching decision to flee their beloved home in East Prussia. This collection of 16 tracks captures the emotional turmoil and the perilous journey that unfolds, painting a vivid sonic picture of a family caught in the midst of historical upheaval.

Book 3 plunges the listener into the chaos and fear of the final days of the war in East Prussia. The once-familiar streets of Danzig (now Gdańsk) become a haunting labyrinth of desperation and uncertainty as Inge and her family navigate the treacherous path to the harbor. The music reflects the growing tension, the ever-present threat, and the agonizing choices forced upon those seeking refuge. You can hear in the sounds the inner turmoil of the characters: the children who do not yet fully comprehend what is happening and the adults who try to hold on to hope in the face of unimaginable fear.

From haunting melodies that echo the emptiness of a lost home to surging orchestrations that mirror the turbulent sea, this soundtrack captures the full spectrum of human emotion in times of war. Moments of quiet reflection are interspersed with powerful, driving rhythms, reflecting the resilience and determination of those who refuse to give up hope, although they know their lives will never be the same.
