The Human Embassy on the Citadel space station is a site to behold! The wonderful scenery of the citadel makes this embassy one of the best places to work in the galaxy!

I wanted an ambience piece for the human embassy. Almost like an ad you'd see on massive screens. Explaining why you should start working there to make a difference.

The text prompt for the Itch music jam was "1000 Pigeon Army"
this led to thinking of Liszt's "St. Francis of Assisi Preaching to the Birds" (composed 1862-1865) for piano. inspired by the saint’s legendary sermon to a flock of birds, which often included doves or pigeons in art and lore.  The piece’s delicate, fluttering passages suggest a mass of pigeons taking flight.

The slower passages are inspired *very* loosely by "Le Chant des Oyseaux" ("The Song of the Birds") by Clément Janequin, a French composer from the early 16th century. Published around 1528-1530, it is a polyphonic choral piece.

Everything was generated using Voltage Modular and a lot of effects. There are two randomly generated sequenced elements where the note information was converted to MIDI and sent from Voltage to a couple of instances of Dreamsynth then to further effects.

Acoustic Session 1

Pretty Mind

An amateur composer.  I try to tell stories in my soundtracks so it's probably abit different than what you are used to, I don't follow any rules x) Huge fan of game and movie music so that naturally is my inspiration. I am using Cubase and East West, everything is played by ear as I have no clue how to write music at all.

Everything I make is available for download. I would ask that you approach me if you want to use it for a project however :)
