I first heard Paul Brady sing a song about New Orleans in 1976. He said it was based on an old Irish song tune, but he had merged the words from somewhere else and now it was 'The Lakes of Pontchartrain'. (Bob Dylan loved it and did a version on one of his albums, but he could never master Mr Brady's guitar open tuning.)
I've written some new words, but also used the old words in a different order, to give a different meaning. It's called The Folk Process. (In case anyone wants to sue me, I've changed the tune to the second half of the song. Now that's what I call tinkering!)
Anyway, it's a serious subject and it deserves a great song. I couldn't do that all on my own, so I've called on the giants of the past, so I can stand on their shoulders. I hope they don't mind.

A Sea Butterfly Amongst the Holoplankton

David Anderson responds to an S.O.S while on a patrol. Isolated from any reinforcments, Anderson proceeds carefully. The S.O.S takes them to a science facility. Inside the facility Anderson and his crew discover a hidden underground complex. Upon entering they are attacked by mercenaries. The scientists are dead and all evidence suggests that someone on the inside is to blame. One of the mercenaries manage to set off a bomb, Anderson and his crew barely escapes with their lives.

An amateur composer.  I try to tell stories in my soundtracks so it's probably abit different than what you are used to, I don't follow any rules x) Huge fan of game and movie music so that naturally is my inspiration. I am using Cubase and East West, everything is played by ear as I have no clue how to write music at all.
