The special guest of the 2nd show is Hungarian DJ, and promoter, Experimental, from Der Morgen project.

The radio show’s called Atmospherica Exotica aimed to present another side of techno through my own and guest mixes, focusing on more atmospheric and sophisticated trends. My first Ozorian experience had a great influence on me, both musically and atmopsherically, this is why I started diving deeper into the soundscapes I heard there and which inspired this show.

Experimental is known for being founder of the Budapest based techno event series called Der Morgen. Serving as a curator, booker and promoter takes a whole person, but the best skill of this one-man army still comes to light behind the decks. His mixes are made with surgical precision, though they are dynamic and diversified at the same time. During a one year residency at club Larm and several shows at Corvin Club and Dürer Kert, Experimental proved his talent in every significant venue of the Hungarian scene while he was lucky enough to share the stage with such legends as Shifted, Paula Temple, Grounded Theory founder Henning Baer, Psyk, Architectural aka Reeko, Arts label-boss Emmanuel, Claudio PRC of The Gods Planet and many many more.

Devenir Maleza was one of those projects that just arrived in our overflowing inboxes one day out of the blue. We opened the link and discovered four finely crafted, beautifully produced and captivating tracks of transformative, percussive music. 

It rare to find music that marries so well recorded percussion, live instrumentation and vocals with deep electronic productions without one dominating on the other. With Devenir Maleza Prisma and Martin Broder, a duo based between Berlin and Buenos Aires, managed to find that sweet spot that we love so much here at Shika Shika: deep, electronic but natural, acoustic and introspective. Or as the duo describes it: “a crackling, soothing, hypnotic lullaby.” 

Devenir Maleza’s was inspired by the concept of “becoming” and of transformation in many aspects. Through their long-distance collaboration the duo’s starting point was to imagine music becoming la maleza or “the undergrowth”, as if it the synths, vocals and instruments were sinking into the humid earth or drawn from the whistling wind or emerging from a rustling forest. 

The duo is joined on the EP by the talented singer and pianist Maria Barone as well as techno-producer / percussionist Merlin Genschel.

This is the recording of the" Plötzlich am Meer 2017"- set by TRACKSUIT BOYS.
Recorded on sunday 6pm-8pm @ Humbug Stage.
From 2016 to 2018 Doktor Ton & Denny Dipper had a DJ-Collaboration called Tracksuit Boys. Two guys, based in Augsburg/Germany who just shared their love to different sub-genres of electronic music.
Unfortunately this set has been removed by soundcloud because of copyright contend. Until now we can not comprehend why exactly this happened. All used Tracks were legally bought directly from the artists or labels. All Help-Centre links soundcloud copyright managment sent us, to get the necessary knowledge about our rights and "mistakes" on copyright content didn't even work. In our opinion we are NOT guilty. We are only two kids who had so much fun on stage and gave our very best to take the chance playing @ such a great festival. It was definitely a Highlight for us little Kids. More than two years later i found this set again on my harddrive and decided to try again uploading it. I hope this time it will be online as long as possible. If somebody of you can give me an advice, that i'm really wrong. I'll remove this set at once. we are not interested making money with our mixes. We do not produce music. We don't want to steal glory and fame from any artists. But on the Contrary, we respect this producing work and the artist more than jesus, we love this kind of music.
