After the debut release of "Bubbler" by Maya Jane Coles, which got a lot of positive feedback from such artists as John Digweed, Roger Sanchez, Loko or Mousse T, just to name a few, Loco Records Supreme introduces the second release from NoamRyder aka Jonjo Williams and Jonny Cade. Both the artists met at Leeds College of Music where they are Music Production students. The duo bonded over a mutual desire to create a progressive electronic sound, that is a blend of Jonny's rhythmic roots and Jonjo's keen sense of harmony and melodic pulse. Their modern attitude towards music can be easily noticed in their "Stool Pigeon EP" composed of three excellent tracks: "African Dreams", "Stool Pigeon", and "Get Board".

I was asked to write a track recently for the ‘Pretty Shady’ campaign in Australia in an effort to help raise awareness for the dangers of skin cancer. The track itself is a celebration of the sunshine but at the same time (via Andrea Kiriwin’s lyrics) it’s also about the dangers of the sun and not protecting yourself from it (‘we love the sunshine but it’s the reason we burn…’). The vibe of the tune is summery and ravey with a solid 90’s breakbeat feel (no doubt heavily influenced by my new Original Rude Boy side project! https://soundcloud.com/original-rude-boy-146533804). I’m also working on a more upfront club mix at the moment which is going to be a lot of fun plus we are running a remix comp. Stay tuned! KK x
