Colombo’s back at iBreaks with more breakbeat fatness on this two-tracker.

The aptly titled “This Is Awesome” brings the funk from the outset, with trademark swung beats under an eerie tension string.  Colombo raises the groove levels up with a low slung bassline, and every so often dropping into some classic breakbeats to keep things interesting.  The vocal sample reminds us that “this is awesome”, although there’s little need for a reminder!

“Do It Now” rolls in with a deeper vibe, still keeping that swung groove in the beats, but an altogether more laid back approach.  The bass is as deep as it gets, while big beat-esque funk and brass samples layer perfectly on top.  This one will make you forget the cold weather and take you straight back to the beach!
