Dixon 

Life and work. Berkhahn was born in Anklam. He grew up in East Berlin and was aiming for a career as a professional footballer or a long-distance runner, an ambition that was thwarted due to injury. In the early 1990s he began DJing under the name Dixon in Berlin clubs such as Turbine, Tresor, E-Werk and WMF.

TSOR 54 really, really does stack the decks. Armed with arguably the best tracklist to date, the 70-minute mix features an enviable roster that includes Âme, Dubfire, Monolink, DJ Koze, Pete Tong, MoBlack, Echonomist, Mita Gami, Ivory, Ida Engberg, Traumer, Landikhan plus more besides… If it were a football team it’d be Real Madrid on steroids!

The upcoming label release schedule basks in its regular spotlight and, as if responding in kind, also shifts a gear. Abuk brilliantly tackles Omer Bar’s ‘Feeling Alone’ with clear, Gallic influence - no prizes for figuring out the clever remix title wordplay! Lessovsky makes a sophomore BAU_HAUS outing and last, but certainly not least, there’s the South American dream-team of Paula OS remixed by Renaissance favourite Hernan Cattaneo alongside frequent collaborators, Soundexile.
