The guys from BBNG asked me to reinterpret their track "Signal from the Noise" from their new album. And because I don't let myself be asked twice by a damn good band like this I put the synth on my piano, pushed the record button and followed the flow of the great idea to interpret a song before it was even released.

Intuitively Martin Kohlstedt feels his way through this body of wood, felt hammers and steel strings. The composer is rigorously working on himself and pulls his listeners into the undertow. It just doesn’t get more personal than that with modern classics.
