These demo were made entirely with Kontakt instruments from Boxed Ear's Sys100 sample set. No post processing or additional effects.

Sys100 is a new library for Kontakt 4 and 5 made entirely with the Roland System 100 semi-modular analog synthesizer.

The Roland System 100 an iconic and classic semi-modular synthesizer released in 1975. It's made up of five components which were all sold separately - the 101 Synthesizer, the 102 Expander, the 103 Mixer, the 104 Sequencer and the 109 Monitor Speakers. 

A full System 100 would give the following features: 2 oscillators, 4 filters (2 low pass and 2 high pass), 2 envelopes, 2 LFOs, sample & hold, ring modulator, oscillator sync, 4 channel mixer and a 24 step sequencer. 

The System 100 is often said to have one of Roland's best ever filters. It's a 24db diode ladder design and sounds thick and creamy.

This synthesizer sounds every bit as good as it looks. We've pushed it to it's limits and created a lovely Kontakt library not only faithfully reproduces the vintage sound but takes it well beyond.

Over 80 Kontakt instruments.
