Marie Klock is a French singer and multi-instrumentalist who lost her dear friend, poet and performer Damien Schultz, two years ago. Struggling with the weight of grief and the absurdity of being alive, she composed an album shaped like a ceremony around some of his poems, to be released on Pingipung end of March 2024.

For this Outsiders episode, she celebrates life with a shameless mixture of wavy rarities and sick bangers.

As we kick off 2025, we are thrilled to have Johanna Elias on board to serve you the perfect tunes to get through Berlin winter.

Johanna Elias (previously known as Janna N) is a Berlin based DJ, who has a background in production and sound design. Johanna has been consistently bringing her unique sound to the many clubs and venues of Berlin, as well as progressively more internationally. This past summer she performed in eight festivals around Germany, Austria, France, and Lithuania. Her sound can be hard to put into words - it's a blend of moods and emotions, blurring genres with a predominant house taste. Very much inspired by many years of afterhour culture, her sets can create a feeling of continuous flow, rolling over peaks and troughs of energy. For dancers, she likes to create a cocktail of deep, euphoric, bliss, sexy, and nostalgic dance music. 

For Loser Records, she recorded something similar to what she would play on a dancefloor, with a slower tempo, in hope it will serve listeners going through their days or late nights. It dives into strange corners, groovy house, and lots of acid. She describes it as one from her heart.

Johanna has previously performed for Loser Records this past October at our 5 year anniversary party in the Lighthouse Plötsensee, and will again be on the line up for our showcase at Renate this coming April.
