As a thank you for a wonderful Gaggalacka festival at the end of last summer, here comes the next musical journey for you: A Purple Playground. It consists of eleven tracks bringing you the feeling of the festival sound from noon until night plus three marvelous downbeat tracks as a soft and emotional closing. Many of the involved artists have already played at previous Gaggalacka parties and some promising new names have been chosen for this compilation. Enjoy this journey and hope to see you all again when the next Gaggalacka calls from the 5th to the 7th of September, 2014. The Fractalfest 2016 minimix series features 20 minute mixes from dj's & producers who will be playing at Fractaltribe's Fractalfest 2016. These mixes will be in the same style of music that each artist will be presenting.

In Episode 16, we present a minimix by do it all audioman Sacred Sound. This mix marks an evolution in the project of Andy Buns...Refined production with drippier and more psychedelic dub and bass beats than before. Smooth yet glitchy with sensual ticklings of the mind his dedication in the studio clearly shows with the quality of his production.

Desert Trax is thrilled to bring fans a star-studded remix pack for ”Saraswati's Twerkaba,” the smash lead track from Desert Dwellers' Clear Path compilation, which was originally released in 2016 by Sofa Beats. The exotically innovative original from Amani Friend and Treavor Moontribe sees the Desert Dwellers blending their signature downtemple dub sounds with global club flavors. It was inspiration enough to draw in a wide range of remixers amped to take on the task.

French guitarist and glitch sensation CloZee joined forces with LuSiD for an earthy, percussive take. Southern California bass legend David Starfire leaned more into the clubby side of the yoga twerk track. Mindex and Landswitcher both went dark and dangerous on their respective remixes, pulling heavily from the subsonic sampling and fearlessly pushing the track into the cavernous abyss. Patiently building from mild murmur to full on twisted roar, Nanosphere stretches Saraswati into a psy opus. Israeli sensation TRIBONE stripped the cut down all the way to its primal, midtempo stomp, and there is no doubt his take will turn dance floors loose with its relentless pulse.

The “Saraswati's Twerkaba” remix pack features 8 tracks with 40+ minutes of music and is available July 17th on all major sites worldwide.

Yestegan ChaY X Lo.Renzo - Honeydew

Sati (Sanskrit: सती / satī) is derived from the name of the goddess Sati, it is a historical practice. The track utilizes a triplet driven base around a solid bass, fitting in a brooding and dark atmosphere, filled with twisted sounds and a speech describing a daily mental practice.
Maktub contains more melodic contents, a fusion of different influences. Between sampled instrumental elements, arps and synth lines create a colorful balance to drive the listener to a cordial place somewhere in the middle east.
Songbeam is a collaboration with UK midtempo producer Tryptich. It combines melancholic atmospheres and textures with driving beats and bass to create an emotive, yet funky journey.
Rainfall transforms a beautifully sad Hungarian folk song into a seven minute long psychedelic glitch-trip.
