Here is my 2 hour dance journey set at Synergy – my first time offering in Vancouver. With a longer set I was able to curate a few waves and jammed with a plethora of genres including downtempo, global bass, breakbeats, deep house, afrobeat, psytrance, trap, drum and bass, dubstep and medicine music. Captured in the recording are some live didjeridoo jams, vocal loops and percussion, including a solo sound bath jam at the end.

As a multi-instrumentalist and an active member, organiser and facilitator in the Nelson and Melbourne conscious/ecstatic dance scene, I first started curating sound journeys a couple of years ago. Since then, I have also been co-creating and playing sets at large community ceremonial gatherings and intentional festivals around BC and Australia with the goal of cultivating collaboration, connection, support, healing and resilience for our growing community.

Radio Raheem is an independent online radio station streaming 24/7 music and visuals from Milan with a cosmic perspective.
The radio, located inside Triennale Design Museum.
The platform aims to support and elevate a genuine and diverse local scene while keeping an eye to the moon and the galaxies far away.

Aaja is a multi-purpose community radio station, event space, record label and bar. Situated in the heart of Deptford at the Snake Pit, the local cultural hub hosts an eclectic mix of radio hosts, DJs and events. Open since 2018, AAJA has provided a space that has nurtured and aided the growth of creative minds and groups within South-East London and beyond.

Afro, Latin & Caribbean-infused rave riddims

Mattana is a multi-instrumentalist hailing from London, bringing dance music from  around the world to her eclectic sets. Mattana is a strong believer in the power of music  to unite and break down cultural boundaries, with her DJ sets reflecting her global  influences. 

Primarily combining Afro, Latin and Caribbean beats, she has played regularly in London bars and clubs such as Elektrowerkz, Brixton Hootenanny and the Jago, as well as at festivals including Boomtown, Wilderness, Tropical Pressure and Whirl-Y-Fayre. She is passionate about using music & dance to bring people together, playing for a range of feminist & queer events such as Qwe’re, Popola and Body2Body, and is a resident DJ with Pinky Promise, Party in your Pants and Quench. 

She hosts a monthly radio show on NRBC following her previous two-year radio show on Aaja Radio, and is also a regular collaborator with Love Carnival, Movimientos, Samedia Shebeen and Village Cuts. 

In addition to DJing, she is a facilitator and event producer, specialising in producing community carnivals and events for young people. Mattana is a trainee Dance & Movement Psychotherapist, and leads workshops and connective sessions incorporating music, movement and games to support people in expressing themselves and connecting with others.

Also known at many festivals and conscious dance parties like Mysteryland, Mandala, Hieros Gamos, OpenUP, D.E.E.P and many more, He is resident Ecstatic Dance DJ at Ecstatic Dance Utrecht, Zutphen, Breda and Groningen and of course seen many guest performances at Ecstatic Dance around Netherlands and Europe.

Nykkyo is a project from Eduard Eieyani from Chintamania and Divine Tools. Eduard Eieyani is a Dutch based international counselor and lecturer with a holistic point of view. He enables the power of people to live in line with their greatest desires, purpose and wisdom. Next to being a lecturer and therapist he has been 33 years a dj and producer releasing music on labels like Global Underground, Pacha Recording, Spinnin' Records, while performing worldwide under different artist monikers. Knowledgeable and experienced as he is, he unveils the mystery of life force and manifesting reality. Specialized in activation lectures, (group) healings, quantum physics, developing divine tools and re-coding reality. Go Osh brings, with his project Nykkyo Energy DJ, subtle high and healing frequencies, fusing them with rhythms to the dance floor. An complete group clearing and activation experience that impacts the collective Human Kind, each dance again!
