"Wider Circles" is the newest album from Rising Appalachia. With influences of folk, soul, roots, world music, and poetry, the album showcases the alchemy of sibling harmonies paired with banjo and fiddle duets. The album was inspired by folk standards and traditional hymns, old mountain odes, and activist anthems that pull equally from the swampy sounds of the bayou, the twang of the Appalachian mountains, and the beat of a global rhythm.

Today sees the release of Fountain Of Youth’s sophomore High Noon EP, which drops on Barong Family. Four tunes, followed by chill vibes and soothing vocals, take us back to the starting point of the group’s never ending inspiration – the refreshing fountain. The guys are back at it to relax, obviously, and tweak their sartorial signature – beach sound. No doubt that for these young folks everything fell into one busy place. Can’t complain though, this summer they are taking stages over at such fests as Solar and Mysteryland, finishing up the 3rd EP and prepping a surprise for the fans with a classic "fountain hook". OUT NOW.
