Aiiiight, Here is my set from the latest round with the man Stickybuds @ the amazing SpiritBar in Nelson BC. This was my 5th time opening for Sticky and it get's better each time. I think our music really complements each other well and the room is always hyped to see him which makes it really fun for me to play. I can't thank him enough as well as all my awesome Kootenay friends who made this such a special night once again, if you've been up there or to Shambhala you know what I'm talking about.  It's a special place and I truly love coming up there to play. I hope you all enjoy this and can feel a bit of the energy coming through in the mix, it is easily one of the best gigs I've had thus far. If you are feeling it please share it and turn it loud. Here is my one hour set from the Forest stage at 7pm Friday night at Fozzy Fest. It was a total blast to play out here to an amazing group of people getting down in a beautiful setting on an killer stage. Oh yeah and hearing my tunes on a nice PK rig. If that wasn't enough my lovely friends Tori and Holly got engaged at the beginning of my set. The audio you hear at the beginning is Tori proposing to her right before mt first track. I'm flattered to have been included in a such a wonderful moment and will remember it always. Big ups to everyone at Fozzy, I had a blast playing there for the first time and hope to be back next year!

We are starting a series of guest mixes spotlighting various artists outside of the Bay Area and kicking it off with a guest mix from Tampa Bay's InterCom (@intercom-dj).

Intercom has pulverized dancefloors from coast to coast with his unique brand of impious vibrations since 1999. Stupefying crowds from Black Rock City to Lakes of Fire, Intercom’s influence on the Burning Man music community has stretched from memorable performances at the Freakeasy and Hookahdome to those at Dewie Decibels and Gon Kirin. In Detroit, Intercom spent years leaving audiences in a pile of their own excrement during monthlies for SanctumFM. Also pairing his caliginous vibe quite appropriately with the devils and ghouls at Theatre Bizarre, where he has performed since prior to the inception of their mainstream epoch. 

Intercom has opened for and supported such belligerence powerhouses as Deekline, Keith Mackenzie, Stanton Warriors, Freq Nasty and Radiohiro.

Since getting his start in Vancouver over 25 years ago while crafting his signature funky sound and layered mixing Marty has carved out an admirable resume in a scene that he loves to give back and contribute to. He has been featured 3 times on DJ Dan's legendary Stereo Damage Podcast and has opened for a slew of legends including DJ Dan, A. Skillz, Krafty Kuts, Mr. Switch, Deekline, DJ Brace, Tommy Largo, Neon Steve, Funkanomics, Slynk, Featurecast, Basement Freaks as well as opening for Stickybuds numerous times in Nelson BC, Lethbridge and Medicine Hat. His festival resume runs deep with multiple bookings at Shindig Festival (UK), Fozzy Fest, Astral Harvest,  Vibrant Music Festival, Bass in the Bush, Moab Utah Pride, Vancouver Pride, Edmonton Pride and the Disco Den in Wichita.  Marty has been a part of the LEMF crew here in Lethbridge since it's inception in 2012 and is current chair of the organizing committee. Marty is also the founder of LEMF Events which creates diverse events for the LGBTQ+ community year round while creating space for local artists with a strong eye towards community.
