My name is Toilea Falanga Lavaka Tupouata. I am Tongan and I was born and raised in Oakland, CA. I've been singing with my musical family since I was a young girl. Whether it be good music that uplifts you, or fun music that makes you dance, music feeds your soul. Music runs deep in my family, especially my Lavaka side. Basically every family has a musical talent and that is where I learned to embrace my gift. Also singing with my grandma back in Tonga, to coming to the States and continuing my practices with my mom who also loves to sing. 

Fast forward to 2024, I wanted to pursue music to leave "love notes" in my songs for my kids. One day we won't be here and the songs we make will be left behind. God is the foundation and the rock in this house and he comes before everything, everyone, and even this gift he's given me. I want to use my gift for his goodness and spread his love around the world. So here I am taking a leap of faith and letting God lean the way.

Lord God, give me courage and strength in times of difficulty. Let me not fear, for you are with me. Your rod and your staff, they comfort me. Inspire me with confidence in the power of your grace, that even when I am afraid, I may put my whole trust in you.
