THEAFTERPXRTY is a  singer & songwriter who always found music as being part of the picture since taking an interest in music at a young age. Pxrty’s  musical talents were shaped from the various musicians in his family, and exposure to different genres. He says, “My grandfather was Marvin Gaye’s drummer, and I remember witnessing his artistry. Music is what I have been surrounded by growing up.” Becoming proficient in the 21st century trap soul sound, has allowed him to blend his favorite genres while infusing his own smooth sound into his foundation. 

THEAFTERPXRTY has been professionally creating music since his early middle school days. He released his project “The After Party” (2017) gaining notoriety with songs “Decisions” and “From Me.” Marxus’s follow up project “The After Party 2” (2020) is a collection of covers on high profile songs such as “Girls Need Love”, “Shea Butter Baby”, and “Rock the Boat” from the iconic princess Aaliyah.
