Gerald Emerick is a musician, actor, writer, and director. Born in Philadelphia,  grew up playing in bands in New Jersey. He gained notoriety as a punk/new wave rocker playing regularly at CBGBs on NYC's Lower Eastside with the band Quincy in the late 1970s. They recorded a single called "Can't Live In A Dream" on CBGB Records then soon signed with Columbia Records in the biggest deal ever for a new band up until that time.  After recording several albums on the Columbia Records label, Emerick moved on. He formed Lulu Temple and later the PTL Sound Club creating satirical "performance" alternative music. This led to various acting and theatrical endeavors.  Emerick has since moved to Los Angeles where he has appeared in numerous films (Being Joh  Malkovich, Pleasantville), television shows (Ally McBeal, Everybody Hates Chris), and commercials. Among his work is a short film he wrote and directed that featured Gary Oldman. He has recently been working on a 3D film "The Heart's Eye View" soon to be released and is developing an idea for a television series about a band and also writing a multi media stage play/musical.
