Delforus is a performative ensemble for contemporary music, experimentation and research of innovative techniques for live performance with new musical interfaces. With the addition of elements taken from the visual art sphere our shows can be presented either as real time installations or  electro-acoustic live concert.

Byron Williams, recognized under his music producer alias 2Mp, entered the world on July 20, 1988, in the Dominican Republic. His early years saw a journey across continents, as he and his family moved to the United States when he was just three years old. Settling in Reading, Pennsylvania, his upbringing was infused with the musical spirit by his father—an aspiring musician whose success as a bass guitarist in his homeland paved the way for Byron's lifelong connection with music.

As a youth, Byron's fascination with crafting compositions emerged through a process of trial and error. He taught himself the art of mixing cassettes from diverse artists using a tape recorder. This experimental process of melding existing sounds ignited an exhilarating sense of uniqueness that left an indelible mark on Byron. Through this journey, his affinity for music production flourished, propelling him toward a path of self-discovery and creative expression.

To gain insight into the intricate tapestry of musical preferences, Byron ventured into the realm of a disc jockey. Before long, he embarked on an entrepreneurial journey, aided by the unwavering support of his parents, who had cultivated his love for music. Byron poured substantial time and resources earned from prior gigs into refining his craft as a music producer.

Delving into beat-making software, Byron pushed the boundaries of his craft, striving to craft signature harmonics. As his proficiency evolved, he seized the opportunity to establish a haven for local artists in the form of a recording studio.

Throughout his formative years, Byron's influence expanded across the globe, spanning regions such as The Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Jamaica, Panama, Venezuela, Mexico, and the UK. Collaborating with aspiring talents, musicians, producers, and engineers, Byron's trajectory led him to earn a coveted spot on prominent mixtape series such as "Coast2Coast Instrumentals" and "Got Instrumentals".

I am from New York City.
A Super Hip-Hop fanatic who listens to everything.
I grew up in the Bronx. Went to college for engineering and ended up wanting to learn the art of beat making. I been messing around crafting music for about 20 years. I wanted to keep diving into music and learn most of every genre . I have a few beats uploaded on here which focuses on my different styles and quality as I progressed through the years. I released my first album two years ago but lacked the knowledge of promoting and mixing music. I began from scratch and re-branded my name. I began to learn about publishing records independently. Music rights is important for me and my collaborating artist. if you see a commercial on my productions it is for publishing rights purposes. copyrights is the new thing so I have to make sure I own what I create, anyone that works with me would be able to receive their proper credit in our joint collaborations. The reason I am still producing is to end up licensing my tunes professionally one day. I would like to use some of my productions in some entertainment placements. such as video games, sports and movies. I started taking promotion classes, producing more effectively on different speakers and studying some of my old beats.
