オーガニックやナチュラルを「当たり前」に戻す消費行動、つまり、より自然に沿ったライフスタイルをコンセプトに、エシカルなオンラインショップを営んできた三宅商店。未曾有のパンデミック下、営業さえ出来るのか分らない状況下にある昨今、閉店することになった事務所向かいコンビニを継ぎ、新たに路面店をオープンさせることになった。アートワークが象徴するように、本作は店主であるDJ MKYが、新たにオープンした三宅商店の店内で流すことを念頭にセレクトしたMIXである。外灯もない山奥の街道沿いにぽつりとある一軒の商店。先代までは辺りに旅立つ人あれば、その棺とそれを打つ釘まで取り扱うのも仕事であったと言う、地域の生活者にとって重要な役割を果たしてきた商店である。その商店の「朝」と「夕」の情景を想起させる２枚組。

そして商店のプレオープン直後、岡山からノンストップで車を走らせ、京都は老舗「CLUB METRO」にて収録。録音と同時に撮影されたフルセット映像特典付き。Orange Ragaの冒頭では、プレオープンを祝す打ち上げ花火と温かく穏やかな拍手の音が収録されている。

年輪重ねてきた地域経済に向けて、暮らしに概念革命を起こすという思いでセレクトされた商品が並ぶ店内では、ジェネレーションやジャンル、そして国々を超えてクロスオーバーするセレクトが心地よく響いている。

この物語を共有した支援者へ返礼品として贈られる、DJ MKY 最新MIX作品。
