Hakata in Fukuoka city is one of the great rock n' roll scenes in Japan. It has its own style. I wrote this song as a homage to the Hakata rock n' roll a.k.a. Hakata mentai rock. "Shelly" is a girl and she's out of my league. With a lot of help from my imagination, I enjoyed writing the song.

50s rockabilly style song. The first verse, "My dad said 'You can't live by just playing the guitar'" is a true story. It was enough to discourage me as a teenager. But, it drove me to make this rock n' roll song. It's inevitable to hear something that discourages you, but you shouldn't take it. Just believe what you're doing.
