Welcome to the 47th episode of the Masala Movement Podcast series. Reto a Swiss born Cologne based master storyteller/writer, director, music lover, vinyl collector and a very good friend of mine, whom we have invited to curate this month’s podcast. As a writer/director in the film industry he has been awarded countless times, even with an Oscar nomination. When it comes to music, too, Reto always strives at creating an experience that both surprises and captivates his audience. Rooted in house and techno, his sets voyage far beyond, embracing the eclectic realms of world music, jazz, funk, leftfield boogie, deep disco and basically everything with a quirky vibe. His passion for the eclectic took him around the globe, spinning records from the street craze of the Rio Parade to the artsy enclaves of the Art Basel Hong Kong exhibition.
