The third day has arrived. After waking up, both Beats were traversing the city to solve a puzzle. While boarding and evading noise on the way, JSR!BEAT thought of a question on the spot.

JSR!BEAT: ...Hey , dude?

TWEWY!BEAT: Yeah?

JSR!BEAT: How's your family like?

TWEWY!BEAT stayed quiet, a bit more focused on fighting the noise than answering the question at the moment.

JSR!BEAT: Like- Before I ran away from home to help the GG's... I lived in Fukuoka. My parents were real bigots and told me to stay away from any black person or immigrant. That was part of why I left, and-

TWEWY!BEAT: Did you smack them in the face before ya left?

The remark took JSR!BEAT by sudden surprise. Caught off guard, JSR!BEAT's stance broke; giving a garage wolf the opportunity to scratch his face. He threw the wolf off of him, hearing TWEWY!BEAT shout "Focus on the mission!" yet again. He recovered quickly, but it's clear that could have been the end of him... after the wolf had been dealt with, JSR!BEAT said:

JSR!BEAT: Well, I mean... I didn't exactly do that, they were my parents, after all. After I left, I kept thinking about them, even though my heart really belongs to Shibuya and the GG's now.

TWEWY!BEAT: ... Sounds to me like you cared for them way more than they did for you, considering they never bothered to try and find you, right?

JSR!BEAT: I mean- not exactly. They did look for me, just... Seemed to have stopped after a week or so.

TWEWY!BEAT: Damn, it seems ya really lost your chance, then.

JSR!BEAT: What chan-

TWEWY!BEAT: To smack them in the face while you could.

Having completely dodged the initial question, TWEWY!BEAT storms off without looking back. JSR!BEAT ended up thinking about his partner's words through the rest of day 3.
