Everybody seems to have an opinion about what mash-ups should be like. Some people say a mash-up should just be two tunes put together, instead of the three or more that i sometimes use. Some people have said that you shouldn't use artists that most people won't have heard of (but the second you only use the most well known tunes then you'll hear ''It's been done.'')
.
One friend said i that when i make mash-ups with just two artists then there should be vocals from both, and that i shouldn't do my ''flipped'' versions, but instead i should pour everything into just the one mash.

I saw one person comment that we should only mash-up pop artists from the last few years so that THEY have heard of them. But opinions are like arseholes, there's a lot of them about!

I kind of have more respect for the people that still don't consider this needing any skills, yet alone it being any kind of creative outlet or ''art''. I'm not saying that i think that (obviously), i'm just saying that i can understand and respect that viewpoint a little more than some of these others, even if they are wrong as well.   :-P

And of course some people hold certain works to be sacred and untouchable.

I'm sure that there are tunes and artists that i wouldn't go near, because i love them so much and would be afraid of ruining them. But if you think i've ruined something that you love, then you can just move on then, can't you? Please go be offended at something else, somewhere else.

In the end, here's no money to be made from what i do, no career (NO FUTURE!). I just do what puts a smile on MY face, right now. But if you enjoy it as well, then that's definitely a bonus.
