Mayan Warrior is the result of a collaborative project that has united artists, craftsmen, photographers, designers, technologists, architects and musicians from Mexico City and Northern California. 

The project’s original intent was to present to the world the incredible ascent of contemporary Mexican electronic music while paying respect to the deep and ancient sources from which that visual and auditory culture had grown.


Both light and sound are curated by some of the world’s most prominent artists to transport participants to the very origins of the culture – and to a new understanding of contemporary electronic expression.

AND YES: Mayan Warrior is driven from Mexico City to the playa – and back – each year. It's a labor of love and we're glad so many people enjoy it.

Growing up in Texas and the Caribbean, Brian Brewster became associated with music
at a young age. Starting out as a reggae, dancehall, and hip hop singer, it wasn’t until
2005 when he moved to Paris that he would become connected with electronic music.
After meeting dOP in the French capital he began to spend a lot of time with the trio in
the studio and in 2010 Aquarius Heaven was born. The sound particularly interested
Brian because there were fewer limitations in electronic music and it gave him room to
experiment. He was able to push the boundaries of sound to create something outside of
the box of the typical house and techno machine. Never forgetting about his roots in
music you can still hear the colors of the Caribbean in his vocals.
After relocating to Berlin his first track “Before U Go” was released on the Watergate 06
compilation mixed by dOP. Shortly after that his debut full length EP was release on
Circus Company titled 7 days. The follow up to 7 days on Wolf + Lamb even further
catapulted him into the spotlight with a dark and sexy music video that created a lot of
buzz in the music-blog world before the EP was even released. Since his quick rise in the
ranks of the world of electronic music Aquarius Heaven has collaborated with some of the
best in the industry including Miss Kittin, Ryan Crosson, Art Department, Mathias Kaden
and many more. He continues to build a strong body of work on some of the most well
known and respect labels such as Circus Company, Crosstown Rebels, Visionquest, and
No. 19 Music.
Shining brightly as one of the stand out vocalists and performers in the scene Aquarius
Heaven has traveled the globe and back performing at some of the biggest clubs and
festivals such as Panorama Bar, Rex, Space, Watergate, and Zur wilden Renate to name
a few. Always in the studio pushing himself to the absolute limit he continues to push out
a high volume of quality work with two upcoming EPs in the new year one on his home
label Circus Company and another on Rhythm Cult. Showing no signs of slowing down
you can expect to continue to see Aquarius Heaven at the top of his game as a staple of
the electronic music world.

This page is dedicated to the ´Cantos´ (Songs) that we have carefully chosen to guide and carry us through the four nights of the Moondance Ceremony. These song recordings are an offering and an invitation to get to know the melodies and lyrics, feel the prayers and respond to our inner callings. During the four nights Ceremony we will only be accompanied by the big huehuetl drum and each of our rattles. All other instruments you hear on the recordings invite you to listen to the songs again and again and again until you are singing them along. We will be singing and sharing songs from all over the world, fusing and integrating the many cultures which are within us. We will all have a growing collection of traditional Lakota, Nahuatl (Aztec), Rainbow and Medicine songs in English, German and Spanish. These songs are prayers, are visions, are a healing force we send into the world, raising the global consciousness vibration by vibration, tone by tone. We send big waves of light and love into all directions, all over the world, for the universe and beyond. Louie Fresco has been part of the scene for almost 20 years, being one of the top references in Mexico he has toured around the world in locations such as DC10, Dubai, Beirut, Barcelona, UK, Tunisia, Germany, Russia, Switzerland, Poland, Ireland, L.A., Miami, Brazil, Chicago, just to name a few.

All this has only helped him to have more experience and improve both his sets and his productions, since after having signed 40+ to No.19 Music, it now seems that a second round is coming with releases on labels such as Curtea Veche and FA>|E from the UK, Howl Records from Italy, La Vie en Rose from France, Facing Realities, WeArePlay from Ecuador, and Saturn Drive from the USA, while he will be releasing his new vinyl only label: OG Traxx, with music from himself, Audio Werner, Enzo Leep, Vicari, Brandub, Rau, Jay Tripwire, Otis, Sakro, Alex Arnout, Howl Ensemble, Ildec, Matteo Dufour, and many others.
