Hi everyone, Mashrooms was born in 1999 in Siracusa, a nice seaside town lying on the southern east coast of Sicily. The first four element’s sound was affected by the beauty and the brutality of our land. And because of this ambiguity the initial project was struggling to find its own identity. 
As time went on, the band released its first full length studio album (Welcome to Spackentown) in 2004 for the small home made label Arsonica. Since that first “post-rock” opera, the several shows all over Italy and the time helped the project - bringing together five people now - to grow in authenticity and to find its own musical identity. 
Later on Mashrooms was identified more and more as a “rock-orchestra”, it released two more albums thanks to two extraordinary labels (Zahr rec. first and Wild Love rec. after) and never stopped to tour throughout Europe over the past years. As the music industry is rowing against the small independent labels, their chances to survive in the big ocean are getting uncertain and fewer than before.
After 14 years Mashrooms is however more alive than ever and ready to give birth to its fourth album in studio. As a consolidated “Orchestra”, we would like to expand our fold and thus we would like you to become a member of this new production. 
Nine compositions will be recorded next April in Berlin (now became headquarter of the band) and from this moment on we’d love to make 250 shares available to whoever is interested in becoming part of the project. 
By purchasing a 20 Euro share, you are reserving a vinyl copy of our 4th album + the digital download. Furthermore it will be our pleasure to include your name among the credits and to send you a copy of the record’s artwork. 
You can pick your copy personally or having it shipped directly at home (the shipping cost is not included in the share).

Epitaph Records is an independent music label founded in Los Angeles by Bad Religion guitarist Brett Gurewitz. Early releases from a variety of punk heavyweights spawned what became known as the 90s punk explosion. 

Along the way Epitaph proudly launched its sister label ANTI-, representing unique and distinguished acts. From the beginning Epitaph’s mission has been to serve the musicians on its diverse and creative roster - an artist-first model, radical twenty years ago, and much imitated today.
