This is a remix of the song "Fly To Paradise" by composer Eric Whitacre for the Virtual Choir 4 project.  I only used the stems he provided, my guitar, and a Nintendo Gameboy running LSDJ for everything you hear.   

Whitacre's style of using diatonic dissonance to create tension has been incredibly influential to my own work over the years.  It was kind of interesting to be able to pour some of that influence back into a reimagining of one of his songs.  

I wasn't sure how a choir and gameboy chip sounds would mix together, but as the song progressed I really felt the magic.  It was also a total mindfuck to take a renowned composers work, and have the gall to change the chords and notes around to my liking.  Oh well, just another challenge right?  

Hope you guys like this one, I think it turned out pretty special.

Donkey Kong Country - Forest Interlude (Dj CUTMAN Remix)

We move on to discussing the past week of Overwatch League competition as the final few teams battle for play in tourney seeding. We go over surprising results and epic player performances before moving onto an ABK news story as another sexual harassment/assault lawsuit is filed against the company. We wrap up by discussing our plans for the podcast post OWL season 5 and where things will be headed in the near future.
