This is a remix of the song "Fly To Paradise" by composer Eric Whitacre for the Virtual Choir 4 project.  I only used the stems he provided, my guitar, and a Nintendo Gameboy running LSDJ for everything you hear.   

Whitacre's style of using diatonic dissonance to create tension has been incredibly influential to my own work over the years.  It was kind of interesting to be able to pour some of that influence back into a reimagining of one of his songs.  

I wasn't sure how a choir and gameboy chip sounds would mix together, but as the song progressed I really felt the magic.  It was also a total mindfuck to take a renowned composers work, and have the gall to change the chords and notes around to my liking.  Oh well, just another challenge right?  

Hope you guys like this one, I think it turned out pretty special.

Push The Point #4: Down in Flames

This week in Overwatch League saw some mystifying upsets, incredibly important news, and continually developing player issues. On this week's episode, Ramses and LoBosco follow up on the Spark v. Krystal battle, as Hangzhou indefinitely suspended him for the remainder of the 2019 season. We discuss the rap sheet of past actions brought forward by the team, and their impact on Krystal's long term career prospects. We also discuss the expected Season 3 absence of Washington Justice's new tank line, as their battles with visa issues will prevent them from a Stage 4 appearance. Also, we cover the recent bid by Zieben Group to purchase the Houston Outlaws for $30 million. We talk about what this could mean for the team, and what makes this such an interesting potential purchase.

Next, Ramses and LoBosco break down the week's notable upsets, including the Mayhem 3-0ing the Spitfire, and the Titans and NYXL getting 4-0'd by the Washington Justice and Chengdu Hunters respectively. We talk about what these losses realistically mean for these teams, and what to expect going forward for the victors. We also discuss the players currently surging in Stage 4, and highlight our personal favorites to watch. Ramses and LoBosco also discuss the Season 2 playoff picture, looking at which teams are in, who's out, and who's on the bubble.

Lastly, Ramses and LoBosco discuss the recently released "roster creation rules" for 2020. We talk about key dates, signing windows, 
as well clarifications regarding restricted free agency, academy teams, and 2 way players
