the only negative I can think of is that this track is kinda short, it's so cool and a good hype track.

Modulate looks to the ceiling of the building he’s occupied himself in. It’s not his cabin, it’s not the plane - not as far as he’s aware. It’s only barely familiar to him; things flicker in the corner and fizzle in and out of existence like a horde of Schrodingers’ cats. Both functional and obsolete. In a way, he’s essentially racing the clock, before things get too glitchy to function.

[say] “/I guess this is the end, my friend”

He says it to nobody in particular. There’s nobody in the room but him, but there’s a slight flicker from the room in return. If he had to guess, it’s acknowledgement, borderline agreement.

[say] “/Big day today, Modulate. At least I got to say goodbye first”

But he didn’t.
He chose not to. There’s really nobody else to talk to. Madden’s distanced himself - not intentionally, but it’s the way of bracket, he guessed. Mark’s been stuck on the plane, Pufferfish has long since left his presence, and there’s someone else he can’t quite remember…

Must not be important.

He takes a look above him, and without so much as a sound, a portal flickers to life. Nondescript, in this strange area. A special map for the occasion, maybe? He’d guess it’s fair. Lighting effects like this aren’t anything he’s used to, though they work nicely enough for the situation. Bright, flashy. About what he expected for the end.

Without much a second thought, Garry takes to the air - noclipping as he’s done several times before, slowly approaching the portal. A quiet sigh, not one that he’s able to have picked up - but one that’s still recognized, in a room with only the quiet ambience of the portal being his only company.

[say] “/This is where I get off. Goodbye Gor-”

He doesn’t finish without an interruption from something in the room itself. From the corner of the room, two white, glowing eyes manage to shine through the inky blackness - a smile following suit, matching the ghastly color its eyes possess. Around it, the room’s ambience warps; its textures corrupt and even get removed altogether - and yet, despite the cryptic display, Garry can’t help but smile a little.

[say] “/Goodbye, old friend.”

But as he continues to rise, his smile fades.

Something feels erroneous, then.

And he can’t quite place why.
