Ray has always been a GREAT musician. But even if his project was retired, he never expected his loss to the Lord of Duloc.
RAY WILLIAM JOHNSON: "What's happening, forum? So, in case you didn't hear, I got to compete in this radical tournament called MASHUP WEEK. It's pretty sick, not gonna lie. But you know what's sicker? Losing to some short, cocky ball bag wearing a skirt! Now THAT'S sick! And to make matters worse, he didn't even keep his streak going! What a ripoff! This is Ray William Johnson saying, next time you see a short dude, kick his ass without questioning it."
Ray was not handling his loss well. In fact, he was outraged. Not only did he lose to an animated pygmy with balls the size of Jupiter, he didn't even make it to the top 4! This set Ray off. He started to throw his equipment around in a fit of rage. He tore his shirt off, revealing a glimmering set of muscles! His hair shined with energy!! HE BEGAN TO FLOAT IN MIDAIR!! SHIT JUST HIT THE FAN!!

FARQUAAD: "... For goodness sake! For how long will this endlessly unwinding path be?! I don't have the time to be stuck in such trivial nonsense! Whoever thought this would be a good idea will be…" 
It's been like this. Endlessly. For ten minutes. Six hundred seconds of non-stop whining and belittling from the guy who's almost the same size as Hat Kid. 
HAT KID: "How can such a little guy with such fancy schmancy clothes and a fancy schmancy castle, have such a bad attitude?"
Lost in her own thoughts, Hat Kid doesn't seem to notice that she bumped into Farquaad. 
FARQUAAD: "Watch where you're going, child! One more slip up like that and I shall have you behind castle BARS!!"
Hat Kid struggles to let out an apology.
FARQUAAD: If you think YOU know where to go, then why don't YOU lead the way, little girl? I'll follow close behind. (Reluctantly, of course.)
Hat Kid: Uh… sure thing.

HAT KID: I'm… not sure if I know where we're going, either. Sorry, miste-
FARQUAAD: UGH!! USELESS!! I expected nothing less from a helpless little girl. So then, what do we do now, hm? Let the MONGRELS of this place eat us alive?!
HAT KID: I don't really think there could be anything… living here. I think we should stick together and set up a resting spot.
FARQUAAD; ...fair point, child. AHEM, THELONIUS!! (clap clap) ...
And just like that, Lord Farquaad beckons the aid from…

FARQUAAD: … oh dear. Hm, perhaps we could set up a… "resting spot". But you will do it. I couldn't POSSIBLY get my hands dirty!
HAT KID: … alright, sure thing. But you're gonna do SOMETHING tee, Mr. "Fart-wad".
FARQUAAD: LORD. FAR. QUAAD. An outburst like that again, and you'll be sleeping at the bottom of a lake.
Out of everything you've seen, guys with cigars, weird clouds, robots, snails, chairs, and mercenaries, this takes the cake. And you could REALLY go for some cake. 
Oh well. You need to rest anyways. Desperately. 
The trunk of this tree will do for now, as the flowers underneath it are KINDA pillowy, yet still organic enough to be fauna. Smells like home.
But of course, Lord FARQUAAD doesn't bother with such natural banalities. Ever since that truly outrageous argument where he were well enough in your right to cut down  "prune" the giving tree of all its wood so it could go to a far more greater cause, I.E the fire place, mother nature has not been on his side as of late. 
For Hatkid, it was WAY easier relaxing here then it was back in Subcon Forest, where there was Literal poison everywhere you went. You have no Snatchers to worry about, neither mafia here or there (save for that creepy Lord Fart-wad), and a total absence of trains. 
So in total, we have one Pouty Prince refusing to get the rest he needs, and one happily content Hat Kid taking a rest among the flowers of this unknown world.

In an alternate universe, when the Gorillaz visited the Spirit House, Noodle's encounter with a worm-like entity resulted in her dormant ARMS genes activating the next day. Learning how to use her new powers, Noodle went on to become NOODLEZ and entered the ARMS League, advertising her band while also meeting plenty of new faces. She was even poised to take down Max Brass, but ended up losing to him at the last second.

NOODLEZ doesn't really get *why* she's in CHANCE (she doesn't mind losing, especially when she made it to 2nd place), but still aims to put on a good show while she's there! With her band's music and the power of ARMS by her side, it isn't a stretch to say she could take the competition by storm!
